Hundreds of users are enthusiastic and use their sun-a-wear sensor every day. sun-a-wear was born in 2016 at 4 a.m. from the vision of helping as many people as possible to deal with the effects of UV radiation on the human body and to deal with it more safely.

Steve, one of the founders, envisioned that one day this would be possible through a revolutionary, easy-to-use, wearable sensor technology in everyday clothing and accessories that could be tracked through an app on mobile phones.

Since Steve is the tireless philanthropist and optimist that he is, he began assembling a team to make this vision a reality. The encounter with Sam, who had previously worked with UV sensors at ETH Zurich, was the beginning of this Swiss start-up.
